Uniform Guidelines

Dance is a disciplined art and a high standard of personal presentation is expected during class time. Correct Uniform is required at all times, hair must be appropriately worn and no jewellery is allowed.

Mother & Toddler And Pre-School

There are no uniform requirements for these classes although we do ask that clothes are loose, comfortable and appropriate for movement. We ask participants of the Parent and Toddler Classes to remove their shoes. Most of the children in the Pre-school classes like to wear ballet shoes and many of them have a leotard which they wear for their lessons.

Lower School – Beginners Class, Preliminary, Grades One:

• Light Blue Sleeveless, Skirted Leotard

• Blue Crossover Cardigan

• Ballet Socks For Beginners, Tights From Preliminary

• Pink Ballet Shoes with full sole and elastic (Grade Two need ribbon for exam)

• Black Tap Shoes (Heel Taps from Grade Two)

Grades Two & Three:

• Burgundy Sleeveless Leotard

• Black Crossover Cardigan

• Ballet Tights

• Pink Ballet Shoes with full sole and elastic (Grade Two + need ribbon for exam)

• Black Tap Shoes (Heel Taps from Grade Two)

Upper School – Grades Four, Five, Six, Intermediate/Foundation:

• Black Sleeveless Leotard

• Black Crossover Cardigan

• Ballet Tights

• Black Jazz Pants/Leggings for Tap/Modern

• Pink Ballet Shoes with full sole and ribbons

• Black Tap Shoes

• Strapy Leotards can be worn from Grade Six / Split soled ballet shoes from Intermediate Foundation
